Concert Duran Duran op 2 september 2011
Het concert van Duran Duran dat zaterdag 11 juni zou plaatsvinden zal worden verplaatst naar vrijdag 2 september 2011. Het concert zal zoals reeds gepland plaatsvinden in het Kyocera Stadion Den Haag. Duran Duran annuleerde de Europese shows in verband met de stemproblemen van leadzanger Simon Le Bon.
Bassist John Taylor verklaart: “We were really disappointed to have to postpone the start of our tour in early June because of Simon’s voice, but have used this time to work up some new material to make the rescheduled dates something really special for the fans. It’s taken us a minute to clear all of these venues, as this is obviously an incredibly busy time of year, but finally we’ve been able to make it work and cannot wait to get there!”
